Assessment answers are sensitive relationship data. Between Us collects the information needed to deliver purchased reports, keeps each partner’s item-level answers private from the other, and protects data in transit and at rest.

Deidentified analytics

When an assessment is completed, a separate analytics record may be created to improve the assessment and study aggregate response patterns. This record uses a random anonymous identifier and excludes names, email addresses, payment identifiers, invitation links, IP addresses, and report prose. Because response patterns can sometimes be distinctive, no deidentification method can promise zero reidentification risk.

AI processing

Structured scores and response selections are sent from a protected server route to OpenAI to create the report. API keys never appear in the browser.

Completion notifications

The site owner may receive a completion alert containing only an anonymous identifier, assessment type, and completion time. Alerts do not contain answers or report content.

Couples

Each partner completes independently. Neither partner sees the other’s item-level answers. A combined report appears only after both assessments are complete.

Between Us is an educational reflection tool, not a healthcare service or diagnostic instrument. This notice should be reviewed by qualified privacy counsel before using the data for formal research, publication, or sharing with third parties.
